Munster have confirmed that they have signed New Zealand scrum-half Alby Mathewson on a short-term deal.
Following an injury to Conor Murray, it was evident that the Irish province would need some additional cover to bolster their ranks.
Now, according to a statement on their official website, Alby Mathewson will join up with the Munster camp on a four-month deal.

The 32-year-old Kiwi has made five appearances for the All-Blacks in the past and has represented Hurricanes, Blues, and Western Force.
With his current side Toulon he has featured on 19 occasions – including in his side’s meeting with Munster in the Champions Cup quarter-final in Thomond Park.
He will join up with Munster as soon as he is granted a work-permit.
