Manu Tuilagi’s Season In Peril After Suffering Yet Another Knee Injury

Just 24 hours after being named in the England’s training squad ahead of the Six Nations, Manu Tuilagi has suffered yet another knee injury.

The big centre only lasted 10 minutes of the Leicester Tigers’ clash with Saracens, before being helped off the field with what looked to be a knee injury.

However during those ten minutes Tuilagi impressed, making one big carry that took three Saracens defenders to stop. Unfortunately for Tuilagi, his game came to end, possibly ending his participation in England’s Six Nations campaign.

The 25 year-old player has missed much of the last two seasons with a troublesome groin injury, and was ruled out for much of the beginning of this campaign after suffering a knee injury during the Tigers’ opening day win over Gloucester.

Although the extent of Tuilagi’s injury is not yet known, the grimace on his face does little to suggest that he will make a quick return.
