Leinster’s Fergus McFadden Ruled Out For The Rest Of The Season

Leinster have been handed an injury blow just days out from the Champions Cup final.

The province have confirmed that Fergus McFadden, having picked up a hamstring injury in the semi-final victory over Scarlets last month, will miss the remainder of the season.

The injury will also keep the back out of action for the upcoming Pro14 sem-final against Munster at the RDS, as well as any potential final appearance for Leinster at the Aviva at the end of this month.

In better injury news, Luke McGrath looks set to return to action this week having suitably recovered from an ankle injury picked up in the Champions Cup quarter-final victory over Saracens.

Jordi Murphy and Rhys Ruddock, meanwhile, will both be assessed this week as they battle hard to be considered for selection against Racing 92 in Bilbao at the weekend.
