Leinster are expected to welcome back Garry Ringrose and Josh van der Flier this weekend ahead of their clash with Benetton Treviso, according to the Irish Independent.
Leo Cullen is hopeful the Irish duo will make it through the week so as to clock in some much-needed minutes to give them the best possible chance of being selected in the Christmas back-to-back games against the Exeter Chiefs.
Ringrose has been out of action with a shoulder injury since last year’s Pro12 semi-final against the Scarlets.
The Leinster midfielder was said to be potentially available last weekend but was given an extra week for cautionary reasons.

Having missed Ireland’s summer and autumn series, Ringrose will be eager to return for his province in order to boost his chances of coming back into the Irish midfield for the 2018 Six Nations.
Openside Van der Flier suffered an ankle injury against Glasgow in the Champions Cup. The injury was a cruel blow as he looked to play a starring role in Ireland’s November series.
With Leinster having such a competitive back row, the 24-year-old needs game time this weekend if he is to have any hope of making the matchday squad away to Exeter.
