Leinster have unveiled their new alternate jersey for the coming season on Friday morning – and they have knocked it out of the park.
Keeping the chequered theme of their home jersey, the province and manufacturers Canterbury have run with it and taken the bolder step of utilising two different colours for the change strip – keeping the blue but adding white to the mix.

While the jersey will not be to everyone’s taste (the old mantra of not being able to please everybody) and there is a definite Puma vibe to it, generally the reaction is sure to be positive – and after the positive reaction the home jersey received, Canterbury and Leinster have, to their credit, delivered twice:

Leo Cullen’s side kick off their Pro14 campaign on Saturday against Dragons in Wales, and will be looking to go that bit further than last season’s semi-final finish next May.
