Reliable reports breaking this evening claim Leicester Tigers have completed the signing of a replacement for the injured Manu Tuilagi.
With the England centre out for the season, The Rugby Paper claim the English club have brought Maxime Mermoz in from Toulon.

Mermoz has been at the Stade Mayol since arriving from Perpignan in 2012. He’s managed 35 caps for the France National Team scoring three tries in that time.
Tuilagi was forced off in the opening minutes of Leicester’s defeat to Saracens on New Years Day. The injury proved to be a season-ender for the 25-year-old and it was inevitable Aaron Mauger’s side would look elsewhere to fill the gap left by Tuilagi.
There are few more experienced operators in midfield than Mermoz, a man who made his international debut in 2008 against Australia. Injuries, however, have hampered his career both for the national side and for Toulon.
If the deal goes through and they can keep him fit, he could be a great signing.
