Leicester Tigers welcome back a couple of key players for this weekend’s Champions Cup clash against Munster at Welford Road.

The Premiership side will be looking to avenge last week’s 33-10 defeat at Thomond Park, and their cause has been suitably boosted by the returns of Manu Tauilagi and Matt Toomua to the starting XV.

The centre pairing come in for Mathew Tait and Matt Smith, with the former moving to full back in place of the injured Telusa Veainu.

Leicester coach Matt O’Connor expressed his delight at the return of the duo, commenting on their work ethic this week as they readied themselves for this weekend’s return clash against the Irish province:

In terms of the rest of the fifteen, O’Connor has opted to leave that unchanged from that which fell short in Limerick last week. Leicester know that victory against Munster on Sunday is essential for their chances of progressing to the knockout stages of the competition, as a third defeat from four could well mean the end for them this season.
