Keith Earls illustrated his fantastic pace ahead of Six Nations.
Although Munster have been knocked out of the European Rugby Champions Cup, they are nonetheless fighting to regain much of their pride after last week’s embarrassing defeat in Paris.
As a result, Munster have been aggressive throughout the game, demonstrating the fighting spirit that was lacking last week.
Indeed, while Munster have returned to their much vaunted maul for Mike Sherry’s early try, Keith Earls illustrated his terrific pace and ability to spot a gap for his score late in the first half.
Given that the Six Nations is very much on the horizon, Earls’ finish will no doubt have impressed the watching Joe Schmidt.
