Julian Savea is widely regarded as one of the most dangerous wingers in world rugby. The All Blacks wide man did not feature for his country during the Rugby Championship, nor has he been named in the squad for the November internationals, but few doubt his ability to beat any defence in rugby.
Savea will tog out for the Barbarians against the All Blacks next month, as he aims to prove a point to Steve Hansen.
However, according to reports earlier today, the winger was being linked with a temporary move to Premiership outfit Harlequins. It would be a major statement at the Stoop, and there is little doubt that Savea would be an instant hit in the Premiership.
However, these rumours proved to be false, and who better to pour cold water on them than the man himself?
Savea took to Twitter to shut down the possibility of a move to London. Straight from the horse’s mouth…

Well, that settles that…
Savea will now concentrate throughout the coming months on working his way back into Hansen’s plans. The World Cup champions take on the Barbarians, France (twice), Scotland and Wales over the coming month, but we won’t see the Wellington winger in the famous black jersey.
