Joe Schmidt And IRFU Make Huge Statement As Simon Zebo Dropped For November Internationals

Joe Schmidt has a named a 38-man Ireland squad this Friday afternoon ahead of the upcoming Autumn International series.

Into the squad comes Darren Sweetnam, Bundee Aki, Chris Farrell and Adam Byrne who will all be looking to make their international debuts.

However, there is no spot for Simon Zebo – who recently announced he is leaving Munster for a move to France.

While it is not unusual for players to get left out of the national team after leaving for foreign shores, Zebo’s exclusion before leaving Thomond Park is sure to be a major talking point.
