Joe Schmidt will be a worried man tonight, following Leinster’s victory over Munster at Thomond Park this evening.
While many of the international players stood up and performed, and Garry Ringrose also gave the Kiwi something to think about, there was a sour note.
Ireland pair Cian Healy and Keith Earls both came off injured, and hopes will be that they can recover in time for the Six Nations.
Healy, who came on as a substitute for Jack McGrath, twisted his knee, but the immediate concerns are whether he will be back for Leinster’s upcoming game against Connacht.
Cian Healy twisted his knee. Hobbling around the dressing room. Will be assessed but looks a major doubt for Connacht.

Keith Earls’ injury stalled play for several minutes, as the Limerick man was stretchered off with a suspected concussion.

Luke Fitzgerald goes over to check on Keith Earls. Nice touch but this is very concerning for the Munster man.

Here’s hoping the pair make swift recoveries, and that they will be back in time for their provinces’ busy schedules in the coming weeks.
