Watch: Yet Another Huge Hit From Andrew Trimble Shows Why He Could Be A Lions Bolter

Andrew Trimble, Ulster’s premier winger showed his defensive qualities yet again this weekend and absolutely emptied opposing winger Nans Ducuing.

With the British and Irish Lions leaving for the New Zealand shores in a number of months, it has become a crucial period of time for any player with touring aspirations.

To name but a few there seems to be Antony Watson, Simon Zebo, George North and Jack Nowell placed between Andrew Trimble and that plane ticket to New Zealand.

The first match on the tour to New Zealand begins on the 3rd of June and continues into July, with such a gruelling schedule ahead of them, they will require all of the top class players they can find!

In this week’s edition of The Oval Office Podcast, we speak to the Pro12 Communications Director Adam Redmond, who outlines how the league will evolve in the coming seasons.
