High Profile Frontrunners Emerge To Be Next England Coach

Stuart Lancaster has stepped down from his role as head coach of the England Rugby team, following a disappointing World Cup where the hosts failed to reach the quarter-finals.

In recent weeks, there has been a lot of talk about potential replacements, from Michael Cheika or Joe Schmidt to Eddie Jones. However, these three coaches already have commitments to their respective current roles, so the RFU may need to look elsewhere for the ideal candidate to replace Lancaster.

This list was posted by Paddy Power on their Twitter account.

England Coach odds

Many high profile coaches with an international reputation head the list, with no clear front runner yet emerging.

While many England fans would like to see a proven winner at the top level be appointed such as Jake White or Eddie Jones, others would prefer to see a coach with an in-depth knowledge of the domestic game get the nod, such as Conor O’Shea, Jim Mallinder, or Mike Ford.
