Forwards vs Backs: Harlequins Players Compete In Intellectual Challenge

Harlequins

It is an age-old question in rugby, and one which has puzzled generations; are forwards or backs more intelligent? Harlequins fly-half Ben Botica and second row James Chisholm took on the challenge to answer three tricky Aviva Tackling Numbers maths questions in one minute whilst being distracted by 30 children from St Michael & St Martin Catholic Primary School in Hounslow.

Former Quins star Will Greenwood was question master with two assistants from the school.

We can reveal that neither was able to get all their questions right under pressure, but there was a clear winner!

Take a look:

Although they seem calm and collected when thousands watch them play rugby, neither Botica nor Chisholm could remain concentrated when under the pressure here. Nonetheless, the result was undisputed.

Think you can do better than the Quins players? Tackle a maths test at aviva.co.uk/tacklingnumbers for the chance to win tickets to the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final at Twickenham on Saturday 28 May.
