Gloucester have made a much needed addition to their midfield.
Gloucester have this morning announced the signing of Scottish international centre, Matt Scott.
The cherry and whites revealed the news on the club’s website, with Scott set to join Gloucester at the beginning of next season.
A clearly delighted David Humphreys stated that the 33 times capped international ‘will add real depth and quality to our existing options in midfield’. Gloucester’s Director of Rugby added,
We need to continue to build strength in depth across our squad to compete regularly with the top teams in Europe and Matt’s arrival is another step closer to us achieving that.
Many Gloucester fans have already had the to opportunity to watch Scott play in Kingsholm, after he lined out during Scotland’s World Cup clash with Japan in the iconic ground.
