Fiji have announced their team to take on England in the World Cup’s opening game.
Fiji coach, John McKee, has unveiled his team to play England on Friday. The explosive Nemani Nadolo has been named amongst a free running back three that also includes Waisea Nayacalevu and Metuisela Talebula.
Elsewhere energetic scrum half Nikola Matawalu is joined by Ben Volavola at half back, with the offloading Leone Nakarawa partners Apisalome Ratuniyarawa in the second row.
McKee told reporters at the announcement that he was ‘very pleased to be able to announce a very strong line-up for the opening match o the Rugby World Cup’.
Having won the Pacific Nations Cup this summer, the coach added, ‘Our players have trained and played well throughout our preparation and must now step up to the high level and intensity we expect on Friday evening and throughout our Pool Matches’.
All eyes will now be on Twickenham with many neutrals hopeful of an upset.
