Cardiff Blues managed to do enough to see off Munster and take home the points after today’s Guinness Pro14 showdown.

FT: Cardiff Blues 37 – 13 Munster

It wasn’t to be the Irish side’s night as they came up against a very strong Cardiff performance over the course of the 80 minutes in Wales.

For the first half, it was relatively tight as Andrew Conway managed to score two tries with some help from the excellent Joey Carbery but heading into the break, Cardiff led by a score of 14-13.

In the second half, Munster wouldn’t register another score – while their opponents managed to score courtesy of Willis Halaholo and Tomos Williams.

In the end Cardiff saw it out by a fairly comfortable margin of 24 points – a fully deserved win, all things considered.
