England Watch: All The Best Performers And Their Stats

Although Eddie Jones recently announced his 33 man squad to take on Australia in the final autumn test of the year, a number of EQPs have been in outstanding form in the Premiership.

We take a look at the stats from last weekend’s round of Premiership rugby and unveil all the star performers.

It’s great to see so many young English players topping the tackle counts this week. Keep an eye on the Curry brothers at Sale – identical twins and both playing at openside flanker. Despite losing out to Wasps at the Ricoh Arena, Ben Curry put in an impressive performance.

In second place is former Bristol Director of Rugby Andy Robinson’s son, Olly, who tackled his heart out in Bristol’s 16 – 21 narrow loss to Leicester Tigers.

England’s forgotten man, Exeter Chiefs’ Waldrom, managed 21 carries as his side thwarted Worcester 57 – 22.

Gloucester number eight Morgan put in 20 carries in his side’s 24 – 20 loss to champions Saracens. However, Eddie Jones has opted to bring back Jack Clifford into his plans for Australia and ignored the chance to recall former international stalwart Morgan. Clifford’s 17 carries would have helped his cause no end.
