England Fans In Ecstasy After Their Team’s Remarkable Second Half Performance Against Australia

What a turn around it has been for English rugby. 12 months ago the Red Rose found themselves at an extremely low ebb following an embarrassing World Cup exit.

However a little over one year later England find themselves as international rugby’s only unbeaten team, with largely the same group of players.

Under Eddie Jones England’s swagger and arrogance has returned, but unlike in previous years, this team can back it up with performances on the pitch.

Under their Australian coach England are unapologetically brutish, using their pack to beat opponents into submission. However during this autumn series it has become apparent that Eddie Jones has added much more subtlety to his side’s approach.

Furthermore there appears to be much more to come from this England team as they develop and progress toward the 2019 World Cup.

While previous England teams have been accused of letting success getting to their head, Eddie Jones will not let this happen. Within weeks of winning the Grand Slam, Jones let it be known that he felt five players had let standards slip.

He keeps the players on their toes, forcing them to not only maintain their levels of performance but raise them.
