Eddie Jones Unveils England Team To Take On South Africa

England Training Session

Eddie Jones has made a number of changes to England’s starting line-up.

Late last night it was reported that Eddie Jones had taken the decision to drop Jonathan Joseph in favour of Wasps’ centre Elliot Daly. Although Jospeh had been carrying a groin injury, the decision split many supporters, but most are interested to see how the Wasps player will perform with England.

As expected, Tom Wood has been recalled, a player with a great deal to prove after being left out of the England squad since Jones’ arrival this time last year. Joe Launchbury and Courtney Lawes return to the second row, with Mako Vunipola, Dylan Hartely and Dan Cole form the front row combination.

Ben Youngs and George Ford will form the half back combination, with Owen Farrell partnering Daly in midfield. Finally, Mike Brown, Jonny May and Marland Yarde have been selected in the back three.
