Diego Maradona To Be Joined By Another Football Icon At Semi Final

Diego Maradona promised to attend los Pumas World Cup Semi Final against Australia.

After partying with the Pumas following their victory over Tonga, Diego Maradona promised to attend their World Cup Semi Final clash with Australia.

However it now seems the football icon will be joined by current Manchester City striker, Sergio Aguero. Pumas full back, Joaquin Tuculet, told ESPN that he expects to see Aguero in Twickenham this weekend.

I was already in [the City of Manchester Stadium] to see [Aguero] play and he can call me now.

Tuculet, scorer of Argentina’s third try against Ireland, also added, ‘We have a very good relationship with the Argentina football players and we’re happy for them to come and see us’.

Argentina’s victory over Ireland has seen them gain much support from neutrals who have watched their own sides crash out of the tournament.

Despite Aguero’s current injury, another Puma victory could spark more keepie uppies in the Argentine dressing room.
