Carter’s Racing and Mitchell’s Toulon are set to meet in the Champions Cup Quarter Finals.
In the aftermath of yesterday’s sixth round Champions Cup fixtures, it quickly became apparent that French giants Racing and Toulon were going to meet in the quarter finals.
Not only will the clash see two European heavyweights collide, but also a huge amount of southern hemisphere talent.
Although Toulon might not be at their best at the moment, we cannot help get excited about the prospect of seeing the likes of Ma’a Nonu, Quade Cooper, Duane Vermeulen and Matt Giteau go up against Juan Imhoff, Dimitri Szarzewski and Joe Rokocoko.
It seems that Drew Mitchell is equally enthusiastic, asking Dan Carter would he be willing to wager his reported €1 million per year wages on the outcome of the game.
Nice try Drew…
