Simon Zebo is currently lighting up the Top 14 and with six tries from six games, his move to France’s top tier is certainly reaping dividends.
His most recent try came at the weekend but his side, Racing 92, were on the wrong end of a 13-19 scoreline at home to Lyon despite the Cork man’s try.
Zebo was a highly popular figure in the southern province, not least among his teammates and if you’re a follower of the 28-year-old’s social media accounts, you will soon realise that he still likes to make fun of his former colleagues.
The latest example of this surrounds a wager made between Andrew Conway and Zebo on the recent UFC 229 bout between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor.
Zebo went with Khabib and Conway went with McGregor. Clearly, the terms of the bet was a public apology for the loser and in this case, Conway.
