Billy Vunipola was forced off the field with a knee injury against Argentina.
Eddie Jones will have to do without Billy Vunipola for between three to four months after BT Sport this afternoon revealed the full extent of the number eight’s knee injury.

Vunipola has come to be regarded as being one of the best number eights in the game after becoming one of Eddie Jones’ key players since the Australian took charge of England.
The Saracens player is central to England’s power game, and has been used not so much to unlock opposing defences, but smash through them.
Although Nick Mullins was quick to point out on Twitter that nothing has yet been confirmed, such is the length of Vunipola’s estimated recovery time, his participation in the Six Nations must now be under threat.
Nothing official yet, but hearing Billy Vunipola’s injury will keep him out of the Six Nations. Three to four months.

Jones is now likely to turn to Nathan Hughes in the interim, but also has Josh Beaumont, Ben Morgan and Jack Clifford at his disposal.
