It seemed inevitable that Benjamin Fall would be ruled out through injury.
A number of weeks ago we published an article titled, Southern Hemisphere Six Nations XV.
In it, we assembled a team made up of southern hemisphere players who will either represent their adopted nations in the upcoming Six Nations or have done so in recent seasons.
Apart from giving southern hemisphere fans the opportunity to once more get back on their collective high horse, it also highlighted how reliant the northern game has become on imported talent.
That fact was once more underlined today, when France announced that Benjamin Fall would be replaced by Australian, Marvin O’Connor.

UPDATE: According to Wikipedia, Marvin was born in France to Australian parentage.
