It’s come a long way from some very humble beginnings. The Haka, one of the greatest sites in all of sport.
Back in 1922, the Haka really didn’t look that scary. Created by Rugby Today the video shows how the dance has adapted from some rather scrawny looking guys standing in a line to the thoroughbred athletes the All Blacks can now choose from.
Things really don’t get too scary until the 1990s but the All Blacks really ramp it up from that point onwards. Having someone like Jonah Lumu in your side certainly helps.
