32 Edinburgh Players Have Yet To Be Offered A New Contract

Edinburgh could lose many of their star players at the end of the season.

The last few weeks has seen numerous rumours surrounding the futures of players whose contracts are close to coming to an end. Indeed, this is arguably the busiest time of the year for scouts and agents alike.

However, while clubs often encourage protracted negotiations, few run the risk of allowing vast swathes of their squads become available at the same time.

Nonetheless, this is exactly what is happening with Edinburgh, who could potentially lose 32 players this summer.

The list of players includes a former Lion and seasoned internationals such as Ross Ford, Alasdair Dickinson, Dougie Fife, Grant Gilchrist, highly rated scrum half Sam Hidalgo-Clyne and South African convert WP Nel.
