Wales’ new overseas player policy means that Rhys Webb will no longer be able to play in a Welsh shirt once he makes his move to the Top 14 next season.
Webb has signed a three-year deal with French heavyweights Toulon and his physical presence is undoubtedly a characteristic which will help him flourish in the French top-tier.
Unfortunately for Ospreys supporters and Welsh supporters, they won’t be able to see him link up with Dan Biggar after this season and that pain has been compounded by the fact that the duo just linked up incredibly to score a fantastic try in their game against the Cardiff Blues.
At the time of writing, Ospreys are 17-14 to the good at halftime against their Welsh counterparts but it was a try by Webb, manufactured by Biggar, which got the Ospreys back in the game after they were 7-11 down after 25 minutes.
The ball finds its way to Biggar who spots a massive gap in the Blues’ backfield. He puts in a delicate chip over the Blues defence, waits for the bounce and then has great awareness to pass to Webb who dots down under the posts.

Anyone fancy a chip? ?
