Saracens have kept the pressure on the Exeter Chiefs at the top of the Gallagher Premiership table thanks to a 27-20 win over Harlequins at the London Stadium this afternoon.
The game wasn’t without its controversy, however.
In the 55th minute as Saracens were behind by four points, David Strettle looked to have scored a try to put his side in front but the effort was ruled out due to a scuffle between Liam Williams and Danny Care on the other side of the pitch.
After a long review, referee JP Doyle decided that Care had started the incident, so a penalty was awarded to Saracens but he also ruled out the try much to the bemusement of Sarries captain Brad Barritt.
