Watch: Quade Cooper On Player Mic Orchestrates Comeback Victory

We brought you a story over the weekend of how the Queensland Reds ended their drought against their rivals, the Brumbies, at Suncorp Stadium. The angle of that particular piece surrounded a howler by Quade Cooper who failed to ground the ball in his own goal area – this led to the ball being spilt and a Brumbies player touching down.

Throughout that game, Cooper was wearing a player mic, which has become a feature in professional rugby throughout the world these days, and it offered a great insight into how he dusted himself down after that mistake to guide his side to victory in the final quarter of the game.

In the video below you will see Cooper dishing out orders to his teammates and calling pre-orchestrated moves which clearly pay off as the Reds go over for a try and then win a penalty in the final moments to secure the victory.
