After 50 minutes, Leinster lead the Scarlets 10-7 at the RDS in tonight’s Guinness PRO14 action.
A converted Rory O’Loughlin try at the stroke of halftime and an earlier penalty from Ciaran Frawley is the difference between the two sides but Scarlets will be frustrated with their performance after blowing numerous chances in Leinster’s 22 in the opening 40.
They dominated possession and territory for much of the first half but failed to get any points.
At the beginning of the second half, they had a great opportunity to get back into the game after Paul Asquith intercepted a Leinster pass.
Asquith ran clear and seemed certain to score only for the TMO to adjudge that he lost control of the ball in the process of grounding.
No try! Knock on….. Do you agree?

Dan Jones missed a penalty soon after but the Welsh side did get their first try of the game when Kieran Hardy touched down and Jones converted to leave just three points between the sides.
