Watch: Nick Malouf Cited For This Very High Tackle On Christian Wade

Nick Malouf has been cited for a high-tackle on Christian Wade during the first half of the Leicester Tigers’ 16-15 victory over Wasps at Welford Road on Sunday.

Malouf was an early first-half substitute as he replaced the injured Jonny May who left the field just 12 minutes into the game.

The incident occurred in the 21st minute of the first-half and at the time, the Tigers man received a yellow card for the incident but according to a statement today from the RFU, the Australian 7s star will appear before an independent disciplinary panel tonight.

Here is the incident, do you think the 25-year-old deserves a ban?

He was cited by independent citing commissioner Paul Hull for an alleged dangerous tackle on Wasps’ Christian Wade. The incident occurred in the 20th minute of the match between Leicester Tigers and Wasps on Sunday 25 March 2018.

Malouf’s hearing will take place this evening in Coventry at 1930. The panel will be chaired by John Brennan with Ruth Middleton and one other to be confirmed.
