Watch: Lions Supporters Really Did Themselves Proud In Wellington

With the British and Irish Lions series against the All Blacks to go down to the final match in Auckland, the next week is certainly going to full of hype, excitement and immense anticipation.

From what we hear on the ground in New Zealand, everyone is coming back to us with news on how great the Lions supporters have been over the last few weeks.

The noise, colour, passion and pride that they have brought to proceedings throughout the tour has been excellent and it is certainly a statement to those who believe interest in the Lions is diminishing.

Even from watching today’s Test match at the Westpac Stadium on television it was obvious to the viewer just how much noise the Lions supporters were making and the decibel level continued to rise as the Lions made a dramatic comeback in the second half to clinch a historic victory.

Pundit Arena’s Nick Heath who was in the press box for today’s game took some great footage of the Lions support just minutes before the full-time whistle. Check it out below.

It was certainly a sea of red.

Here’s another angle of the Lions supporters in full voice taken from the pitch.

And the players were certainly thankful for the tremendous support that they received.
