Australia continued their excellent form with a four try victory over Wales at the Principality Stadium.
Tries from Tatafu Polota-Nau, Adam Coleman, Michael Hooper and Kurtley Beale gave the Wallabies 21-29 victory which sets them up nicely for the difficult task of facing England at Twickenham next weekend.
For Wales, well it is a continuation of their dreadful record against Australia. This loss has made it 13 consecutive losses for Wales against Michael Cheika’s side and it continues Wales’ poor form against southern hemisphere opposition.
Wales added a bit of gloss to the scoreline when Hallam Amos went over for a try at the death but the performance will be a worry for Warren Gatland who’s side butchered a number of chances and presented some defensive frailties too often which Australia were too happy to take advantage of.
Six tries in total from both sides provided a good level of entertainment for those in attendance and those who were watching at home but it was Beale’s deputising duties which also stood out in this game.
Due to a yellow card to Michael Hooper in the 68th minute, Beale took it upon himself to pack down in the scrum as a flanker and it’s safe to say that he wasn’t too confident in what he was doing.
