Watch: It All Kicked Off Between Leinster and Scarlets Due To Dangerous Tackle On Garry Ringrose

Scarlets have won 27-15 at the RDS and they have become the first side in PRO12 history to win an away semi-final.

The match began with worrying scenes as Jack McGrath was removed from the field of play with a troublesome looking elbow injury which was heavily strapped. McGrath suffered the injury after about three minutes but was unable to continue and was substituted for Cian Healy after the ten-minute mark.

That unfortunate incident aside, it’s been a cracking game of running rugby with the Scarlets incredibly impressive as they cut open the Leinster defence time and time again to score three tries through Steffan Evans, Aaron Schingler and Gareth Davies.

Evans and Davies were both involved in controversial moments as some handbags between Davies and Johnny Sexton caused a bit of a schmozzle on the sidelines. A penalty was awarded against the Scarlets and the referee was happy enough with just that.

However, a little later we saw Evans leave the field as a tip tackle on Garry Ringrose was deemed reckless by the officials and the 22-year-old was given a red card as a result.

Ringrose landed on his head which seemed to convince the referee that a red was the appropriate colour for the offence.

Scarlets were incredible in the second half with just 14 men and they never looked in trouble which just sums up how poor Leinster were in the second half.

The Welsh side are into a PRO12 final and their opponents will be known after the second semi-final between Munster and Ospreys.
