A huge upset is on the cards at Kingston Park as the Newcastle Falcons look on the verge of pulling off an incredible victory against reigning Premiership champions, the Exeter Chiefs.
Despite winning their last three Premiership fixtures, two of which were away from home, not many would have given Dean Richards’ side much chance against Rob Baxter’s men but they have gone completely against the script by putting three tries on the Chiefs in a blistering opening 40 minutes.
Sinoti Sinoti, Vereniki Goneva and Kyle Cooper all crossed the whitewash in the first half but it was the first try from Sinoti which really stood out. The pacey Samoan picked up the ball on the left wing, in his own half, before putting on the afterburners which took him past the first attempted tackle.
He then produced some ridiculous steps to completely confuse James Short who was turned inside out as the 32-year-old accelerated down the wing to touch down.
