Watch: All The Highlights As Lions Secure Last Gasp Dramatic Victory Over The All Blacks

All Blacks 21 – 24 British and Irish Lions

What. A. Match.

If you were unfortunate enough to sleep in this morning then you truly missed out on a gripping game of rugby. The Lions outscored the All Blacks two tries to nil but the Lion’s indiscipline threatened to ruin the one-man advantage they had for most of the game.

The first main talking point was the sending off of Sonny Bill Williams for leading with his shoulder into the face of Anthony Watson.

It was 9-9 at half-time but then the Lions went through a ridiculous phase of indiscipline which led to the concession of multiple penalties. Beauden Barrett missed a few but the All Blacks were 18-9 up after a penalty conceded by Mako Vunipola which he received 10 minutes in the bin for.

Taulupe Faletau touched down in the corner after a lovely sweeping move from the Lions but Owen Farrell was unable to convert.

Barrett added another penalty before Conor Murray darted in from the base of the ruck with a try reminiscent of the score against the All Blacks in Chicago in November.

Farrell converted which levelled the game before the Saracens man added a penalty to put the Lions ahead just minutes before full time. The Lions were able to hold out and the series will be decided in Auckland next week.
