Munster supporters will be keenly waiting for the opportunity to see Joey Carbery make his first appearance in a Munster shirt this season.
Since the high-profile move to the southern province was confirmed by Munster earlier this summer, there has been an air of excitement surrounding what the Ireland out-half can bring to Johann van Graan’s side.
Over the last few weeks, Carbery has been hard at it in preseason training as he gets to grips with the various systems and styles of play which he will utilise over the coming months.
The 22-year-old has now given an interview with the club where he outlines how he is embracing the change since making the move.
“It’s two very professional outfits,” Carbery said.
“It’s a change for me, having been in Leinster. I’m embracing the change and I’m really enjoying it at the moment. I feel like I’m settling in.
“The gym and the meeting rooms are all first class. It’s helping our game being around this environment.”
