Watch: Adam Thompstone’s Audacious Offload Had Tigers Roaring Back Against Saracens

It was looking bleak for the Leicester Tigers early in the first half of their Christmas Eve fixture against Saracens at Welford Road.

After conceded a penalty which Owen Farrell duly slotted over, the Tigers had Johnny May sent to the sin-bin for a deliberate slap down – the referee and the TMO agreed that if the pass was completed, Saracens would have scored so a penalty try was awarded.

Jamie George then made it worse for the home side when he spotted a gap in the Tigers defence, darted through and cantered to the try line to down under the posts.

However, the Tigers hit back immediately with a try through Matthew Tait and it involved one of the best offloads you will likely see this season.

Adam Thompstone was being pulled into touch when he somehow managed to produce a no-look behind the back pass to the supporting Tait who scored to get the Tigers back into the game.

Check it out below.

At the time of writing, Saracens currently lead the Tigers 20-10 after Farrell slotted another penalty in the 48th minute.
