Warren Gatland Names Wales Team For Grand Slam Clash With Ireland

Wales head coach Warren Gatland has named his side for their Grand Slam clash with Ireland at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on Saturday.

Wales will be bidding for their first Grand Slam since 2012 and their first championship victory since 2013.

It will also be Gatland’s last Six Nations match in charge of Wales so there is no shortage of motivation coming into this one.

Gatland has named an unchanged team from the side which beat Scotland at Murrayfield last weekend.

Captain Alun Wyn Jones will equal Welshman Gethin Jenkins’ total test appearance record as he moves to 134 test caps (125 Wales, 9 British & Irish Lions) and to joint fifth in the overall world test appearance list.

Josh Adams, George North and Liam Williams once again comprise the back-three for Wales.
