The Waratahs look set to end Australia’s dismal record against New Zealand opposition in Super Rugby as with 15 minutes remaining, they lead 36-12 and have a man advantage.
The man advantage came as soon as the 19th minute of the game when Tevita Nabura was given a straight red card by the referee after he struck Cameron Clark in the face with the studs of his boot when fielding a high ball.

A brace apiece from Taqele Naiyaravoro and Israel Folau has given the Waratahs some breathing space but second-half tries from Elliot Dixon and Ash Dixon have given the Highlanders some hope of emulating the Crusaders who clawed back an almost insurmountable lead against the Tahs last time out.
