We’re only two months away from the new Super Rugby season and excitement is definitely building as squads have been confirmed over the last number of weeks and preseason training gets underway.
As ever, there is a new format for next season with the reduction of the number of teams involved – it will now be a 15-team competition after the removal of the Cheetahs, the Southern Kings (who are now in the PRO14) and the Western Force.
As much as it’s sad to see teams being removed from a competition, hopefully, the new reduced format will lead to higher quality games and a more competitive league, with the New Zealand franchises dominating in recent seasons.
Those New Zealand teams have now revealed their new kits for the campaign, all manufactured by Adidas and we must say, they look absolutely incredible, yet again. Take a look below.
For a closer look, here are the Chiefs’ three new kits:

Unfortunately, we don’t have any close-up images of the Highlanders or Hurricanes kits but we’re sure they will available soon.
What do you make of the new kits? Lets us know in the comments!
