Munster Name Very Strong Team For Friday Night Lights In Cork

Munster head coach Johann van Graan has named a very strong team to take on the Southern Kings at Irish Independent Park in Cork on Friday night. 

In total, there are seven changes to the team which defeated the Dragons at Rodney Parade last time out.

Many of Munster’s Ireland contingent have returned as Andrew Conway, Chris Farrell, Niall Scannell, John Ryan and Billy Holland all start.

The front row is made up of Jeremy Loughman, Scannell and Ryan while Jean Kleyn and Holland pack down behind the second row. Fineen Wycherley, Chris Cloete and Arno Botha make up the back-row.

Neil Cronin partners captain Tyler Bleyendaal in the halfbacks and they will have the centre pairing of Rory Scannell and Farrell outside them.

The back-three is made up of Conway, Darren Sweetnam and Mike Haley.

Replacements: Rhys Marshall, Liam O’Connor, Stephen Archer, Darren O’Shea, Gavin Coombes, Alby Mathewson, JJ Hanrahan, Dan Goggin.
