How good was Joey Carbery? 

The Munster out-half produced an incredible performance in Kingsholm; scoring two tries, laying on an assist and was 100% from the tee in a 26-point haul.

The southern province ran out 41-15 winners in what was Munster’s best performance of the season which puts them in an ideal position with the Exeter Chiefs pitching up at Thomond Park next Saturday.

Carbery was influential throughout but he had some superb moments in the second-half.

First, he was on hand to send Andrew Conway through with a lovely grubber kick off his weaker left foot to which had the Munster winger racing clear to collect and crash over the line.

With the bonus-point already secured, Munster wanted to thwart off any sense of an unlikely Gloucester comeback and they did so when the Auckland-born out-half showed excellent awareness to pick off a loose pass to intercept and sprint clear for the line.
