Although the British and Irish Lions tour is going down to the wire with what should be a rip-roaring third Test match in Auckland on Saturday, this time of year can be quite difficult for rugby supporters in the northern hemisphere.
The summer Tests are over and the players are only slowly returning to their clubs for an arduous pre-season. However, what is good about the summer is that we get to see some new kit which various teams, both club and international sides, are launching ahead of the new season.
Italy have just announced their new home and away jersey for the new season and we must say, they are both absolutely glorious. Conor O’Shea’s side have a new kit manufacturer with Macron taking over from Adidas. The German supplier is probably one of the most consistent in the world at producing high-quality rugby shirts but any fear from Italy supporters of a drop in standard can be allayed as Macron has done a stand-up job with their inaugural effort.
We’re struggling to decide which is nicer, the home shirt or the alternate shirt?
And the alternate effort…
Vote below and let us know which jersey one you prefer!
