Guinness PRO14 Fixtures Have Been Hit Hard By The Relentless Weather

The UK and Ireland are currently being smashed by the ‘Beast From The East’ and Storm Emma which have brought widespread arctic conditions.

Inevitably, such uncharacteristic weather for this time of year has led to a number of fixtures postponed across the UK and Ireland and the Guinness PRO14 has been hit hard.

At the moment the following games have been postponed.

  • Ulster Rugby v Glasgow Warriors
  • Edinburgh Rugby v Munster Rugby
  • Zebre Rugby v Ospreys Rugby
  • Cardiff Blues v Benetton Rugby

Here are the games which are due to currently go ahead and it’s safe to say the games held in South Africa are in no danger of being called off.

  • Southern Kings v Dragons
  • Scarlets v Leinster Rugby
  • Toyota Cheetahs v Connacht Rugby

It will be interesting to see whether Scarlets v Leinster which is due to be played on Saturday will survive the weather conditions.

As of yet, there has been no concern over a full round of Aviva Premiership fixtures and currently, they are expected to go ahead.
