We’re Going Big With Our Aviva Premiership Predictions This Weekend

With three rounds remaining in this season’s Aviva Premiership campaign, there is little room for slip-ups as various clubs look to secure playoff and Champions Cup qualification.

We’re here to provide you with some tips ahead of this weekend’s matches and hopefully, give you some cause for celebration, with

Bet Of The Weekend:

We’re going big this weekend with a full-on six-match accumulator. We’re going for wins for Newcastle Falcons, Gloucester, Leicester Tigers, Wasps, Exeter Chiefs and Saracens.

A £10 bet will give you a return of £25.

Newcastle Falcons v Sale Sharks

Both of these northern clubs are having excellent seasons and only one point separates them in the table as the Falcons lie in fifth and the Sharks in sixth.

The Falcons fell back down to earth when they lost to Worcester at Sixways last weekend while Sale secured a brilliant victory over Wasps. We expect a serious reaction from Dean Richards’ side and with the game being held at Kingston Park, we think Newcastle will nudge this one.

Gloucester Rugby v Harlequins

It’s been a turbulent week for Harlequins, an embarrassing defeat to London Irish led to John Kingston announcing he will be leaving at the end of the season. Although Quins will have a response, Gloucester have everything to play for with Champions Cup qualification within reach and perhaps even a playoff spot still possible.

Gloucester have an excellent home record so we expect them to get a win against a struggling Quins side.

Leicester Tigers v Northampton Saints

These two decorated clubs always give a great contest but their current fortunes couldn’t be more different. Like Quins, the Saints have fallen dramatically in recent times and they have nothing to play for with three games remaining. Tigers on the other hand look set for the playoffs if they can secure another victory and we expect them to do so in front of a passionate crowd at Welford Road.

Wasps v Worcester Warriors

Wasps will be keen to bounce back from that one-point defeat to Sale Sharks last time out and they should have enough to beat Worcester who have a poor away record.

London Irish v Exeter Chiefs

London Irish kept their faint hopes of staying up alive with that bonus-point win over Quins last weekend but even though they are at home, we can’t see them upsetting the odds two weeks in a row against the reigning Premiership champions.

The Chiefs are flying high at the top of the table and we expect this to continue with another win this weekend.

Saracens v Bath Rugby

Saracens put their European disappointment behind them by thrashing the Northampton Saints last time out and we expect them to put in another good performance against Bath at home.

Mark McCall’s side will be keen to finish the season strongly and close the gap on the Chiefs who are top of the table. They will be too strong for Bath.

See how well we’re doing in the LeoVegas Punters’ Union rugby betting league at We’re going head-to-head with other rugby titles this season to see who can win the most rugby bets and finish top in May! Who are you betting on this weekend?
