Under Jacques Brunel, France seem to have taken a step in the right direction and although results in 2018 thus far haven’t gone their way, we have definitely seen a huge improvement in performance.
Their recent 3-0 series loss to the All Blacks last month, although disappointing on paper, is cause for optimism considering the trouble they caused the world champions throughout the series. Referee decisions didn’t go their way and you would wonder if they could have defeated Steve Hansen’s side if it wasn’t for the harsh yellow and red cards they received throughout the series.
Nevertheless, winning breeds confidence and they will look forward to the November series to finally establish some momentum ahead of next year’s World Cup.
In doing so, they will be sporting a brand new kit made by French manufacturer Le Coq Sportif. The national side have moved away from Adidas the new kit if definitely patriotic as it sports the French national flag on one of the sleeves.
Take a look below and let us know what you think, we are definitely big fans of the change in direction.
