England And Scotland Could Be Under Investigation For Tunnel Scrap

As the dust settles on England’s loss to Scotland at Murrayfield on Saturday evening, everyone seems to be talking about the tunnel incident which took place before the game kicked off.

After both teams had completed their warms ups, there was an altercation between both sets of players as they returned to the changing rooms through the tunnel.

It has been reported that England’s Owen Farrell was involved in addition to Scotland’s Ryan Wilson, according to BBC Sport.

You can see footage of the incident below.

According to Sky Sports, both teams will know by Monday evening whether there will be an investigation into the incident which saw teammates of opposing teams pulling apart Wilson and Farrell from one another.

It is up to the matchday citing officer to examine the incident and to determine whether any further action is necessary. If that occurs, it could have repercussions for England and Scotland’s next games with France and Ireland, respectively.

Eddie Jones was asked about the incident afterwards but he stated he didn’t know anything about it.

“I’ve been coaching a game,” Jones told reporters. “I’ve been pretty busy.

“Are you aware of it? You can show it to me after the press conference, then we can have a chat about it.

“In all seriousness, I don’t know about it.”
