Leinster have been dealt with the blow that Devin Toner will be unavailable for the eastern province’s Guinness PRO14 final with Glasgow Warriors in Celtic Park on Saturday.
Leo Cullen’s secured their spot in the final two when they overcame rivals Munster 24-9 on Saturday at the RDS.
Toner left the field just before halftime with a leg injury and Leinster have since confirmed that he suffered some damage to his knee.
The reigning champions have ruled the Ireland international out of Saturday’s clash with Glasgow and confirmed that he will undergo further assessment to determine the extent of the injury.
The news will be of huge concern to Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt who missed the towering lock’s presence during the Six Nations because of an ankle injury.
Leinster confirmed that there are no other fresh injury concerns from the semi-final win.
